Gordy Skaar Memorial Golf Tournament

The 44th Annual Gordy Skaar Memorial Golf Tournament returns to the Bemidji Town & Club on June 18. All proceeds support scholarships for BSU student-athletes through the Beaver Pride fund and an endowment created in the name of the late Gordy Skaar.

IMPORTANT: Registration is online only (no on-site registration allowed).

Format: 
The tournament will be a five-person scramble with both morning (7:30 a.m.) and afternoon (1 p.m.) shotgun starts.

Tournament includes 18 holes of golf, a tee gift, meal and two carts per team.

Event Sponsors: 
If you'd like to offer additional support for BSU Athletics or can't attend the tournament, you can sponsor the tournament for $125.

Your business or name will be displayed prominently at the check-in tent, the club house and pro shop. 

Silent Auction

If you can't make the event, you can support BSU student-athletes by bidding on the Gordy Skaar online auction, including BSU merchandise, golf packages and more.

Anyone can bid on these items, not just those who attend the tournament. Items can be picked up or shipped.

Gordy Skaar (1926-1992)

A long-time Bemidji State Athletics supporter, Gordy Skaar founded the Skaar-Pabst Golf Tournament in 1977 to raise funds for Bemidji State University athletic scholarships. 

To date, the Gordy Skaar Memorial Golf Tournament has raised over $800,000 in support of Beavers Athletics.
