The Bemidji State University Alumni & Foundation has an immediate opening for a senior director of finance and operations, a key role focused on maintaining strong financial practices and improving internal systems.
This hands-on leadership position oversees accounting, budgets, and reporting while helping align finance with alumni engagement, fundraising, Career Advancement, and communications. The role also supports the development of efficient processes and provides clear financial insights to staff and board members.
Candidates should have a background in accounting or finance, at least five years of relevant experience, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution. Experience working with leadership teams, boards, and auditors is important. A CPA and experience in nonprofit or higher education settings are preferred.
The salary range is $90,000 to $105,000 and includes a competitive benefits package, flexible time off, retirement contributions, and professional development opportunities.
