Selection Criteria
Bemidji State University Young Alumni Award recipients are selected by the BSU Alumni & Foundation Board of Directors for exceptional achievement in career, public service and/or volunteer activities that bring honor to Bemidji State University. Eligible nominees must be graduates of Bemidji State University and be 40 years of age or younger. No person shall be selected for the Young Alumni Award while a candidate for public office.
Nominations
Nominations for the Young Alumni Award can be made by anyone but an immediate family member (including parent, spouse, child and sibling) of the nominee, or the nominee them self. Faculty and staff of Bemidji State University, as well as members of the BSU Alumni & Foundation Board of Directors, are not eligible for consideration until after completion of service.
