For Bemidji State University hall-of-famer Joan (Campbell) Anderson, the relationships she forged at BSU were built to last a lifetime — and the Howe-Welle Women’s Athletics Golf Tournament provides the perfect setting to celebrate those connections.
Homecoming t-shirts are now on sale at the Phil Sauer House and can be purchased in person during normal business hours. Shirts will also be available at Homecoming, while supplies last.
All Golden Beavers — those who graduated from Bemidji State 50 or more years ago — who are in attendance will be recognized and awarded their Golden Beaver medallion at this year’s event on Sept. 25. All Golden Beavers are also eligible to register at a discounted rate of 50% off.
Many members of the Bemidji Alumni Choir were students of the late Dr. Paul Brandvik, a professor emeritus of vocal music at Bemidji State University who died in December 2025.
The 29th annual Galen Nagle Memorial Golf Tournament roped in alumni, supporters, friends, and fans of Bemidji State men’s hockey — plus $66,000 in raised funds for the program.

All four recipients, plus other honorees, will be recognized at the 2026 Honors Gala, which is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at the Sanford Center. Registration for the gala will open on Monday, June 29.
