Andrea Schwinghammer

Andrea Schwinghammer, a certified physician assistant, joined the Winona Health staff and cares for patients as a physician assistant hospitalist. Hospitalists specialize in caring for hospitalized patients, providing around-the-clock care and working closely with nursing staff and each patient’s primary physician. Andrea earned her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Wisconsin in La Crosse, and her bachelor’s degree from Bemidji State University. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Army Physician Assistants, and the Minnesota Academy of Physician Assistants.
