March Madness is back, and so is the opportunity to pit your best bracket against fellow Bemidji State alumni and friends. This year, you can rise to the top and win a BSU-branded basketball jersey, basketball, or pint glass.
Bemidji State alumni and friends are invited to fill out their Division I NCAA Tournament brackets and put their basketball wits to the test. Join other alumni and friends in pursuit of the perfect bracket — or at least the best among all Beavers.
Participants can join the official BSU groups by clicking the buttons below or by logging on to the ESPN Tournament Challenge hub and searching “Bemidji State Alumni and Friends MBB” on the men’s group page and “Bemidji State Alumni and Friends WBB” on the women’s group page. Each user may add up to two brackets per group.
The first-place finisher in each group will win a free BSU basketball jersey; the second-place finisher will win a free BSU basketball; and the third-place finisher will win a free BSU pint glass.
In order to be eligible to win, your username and/or bracket name must be identifiable so we know who you are. (And keep in mind other participants may share your name, so adding your grad year to your bracket name may help.) Alternatively, you can contact our office at 218-755-2599 to confirm your submission with a non-identifiable username or bracket name. Unidentifiable entries will not be eligible to win prizes.
An ESPN account is required to fill out a bracket and join the group. Registering is free. Likewise, there is no cost to join the BSU groups.
The deadline to fill out and submit a bracket is before the first Round of 64 game for each tournament. That means 11:30 a.m. CT on Thursday, March 19, for the men's tournament, and 11:30 a.m. CT on Friday, March 20, for the women's tournament.
