Former Bemidji State women's track and field national champion and All-American Sheena Devine (now Devine-Remitz) has been inducted into the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division II Athlete Hall of Fame.

The Class of 2025 includes Mobolade Ajomale of Academy of Art, Lerone Clarke of Lincoln (Mo.), Sheena Devine of Bemidji State, Caroline Kurgat of Alaska Anchorage, Lauren Martin of Adams State, Aucencio Martinez of Adams State, Kurt Roberts of Ashland and Lauren Stelten of Minnesota State.

Devine (2004-08) left her mark as one of the best student-athletes to ever walk the halls at Bemidji State, leaving the university as a three-time national champion, five-time All-American and seven-time all-conference performer. She ended her collegiate career as the program's record holder in four events. Her mark of 52-02.50 in the shot put at the 2008 NCAA Championships still remains the program's top throw and was the third-best winning mark in meet history at the time.

Devine won outdoor shot put national championships in 2007 and 2008, plus the indoor shot put national championship in 2007.

Devine also excelled academically and was named the 2008 Division II Indoor Field Scholar Athlete of the Year by the USTFCCCA and was a five-time NSIC All-Academic Team selection.

Devine is the first former Bemidji State track and field student-athlete to be inducted into the USTFCCCA Hall of Fame.
