History in the Pines is the digital museum of Bemidji State University. It was built to preserve and celebrate BSU's past while also centralizing content into a single, public location.

History in the Pines features a little bit of everything. It includes content from university archives and private collections like photos, historical stories, personal memories and more. They cover all sorts of areas of student life, from athletics and arts to traditions and testimonies. But this description only scratches the surface; we like to think that there's a rabbit hole for everyone.

No. History in the Pines is completely free to use. Likewise, submitting your own materials for inclusion in the collection is free and encouraged.
