The Ah-Mic
Students at Bemidji State College used to produce an annual yearbook. The first came out in 1951 and was simply called the "Beaver." From 1957-71, it published under the name "Ah-Mic," which is an Ojibwe word meaning "Beaver."

University in the Pines
University in the Pines is a book authored by late Dr. Arthur O. “Art” Lee – a professor emeritus at BSU and unofficially the grandfather of Bemidji State history. The book, published in 1994 as an expansion of Lee's 1969 work "College in the Pines," is considered the definitive historical narrative of Bemidji State University.
