Registration for the 2026 Honors Gala is now open, meaning distinguished guests, supporters, alumni, and friends of Bemidji State University can reserve their seat at one of the Alumni & Foundation’s premier annual events.

The gala will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25, in the Sanford Center ballroom. BSU will honor its newest class of distinguished alumni, plus other donors and friends, and celebrate the latest happenings at Bemidji State as part of its annual Homecoming festivities.

There will also be special recognition for “Golden Beavers” — those who have graduated at least 50 years ago — and Golden Beaver attendees can register at a discounted rate.

Tickets are $100 per adult or $50 for Golden Beavers. Attendees can also reserve a table of eight seats for $600. Tickets are $25 for children 12 and under, and community members are also invited to purchase a seat for a current BSU student for $50.

This year’s class of Distinguished Alumni features four recipients of the Outstanding Alumni Award: Joseph Broking ‘02; Erik Hopperstad ‘04; Dr. Michael Thomas ‘02, ‘05; and Dr. Misty Wilkie ‘01.

Bemidji State will also recognize many of its supporters, including President’s Society donors, new Legacy Society members, a Friend of the Foundation honoree, and a Philanthropist of the Year.
