Carol Ellis

Carol earned her degree in elementary education from Bemidji State College in 1953. She married John in 1956 and taught second grade at Gertrude Boase Elementary School in Hoyt Lakes before retiring in 1989. She spent her summers traveling throughout Europe and Australia with her mother. A member of the Trinity Methodist Church in Hoyt Lakes, she served as treasurer and as president of the United Methodist Women. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, and gardening.
