Cathy (Maxey) Smith

Cathy (Maxey) Smith earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education from Bemidji State University. She and her husband, David, shared a passion for education and devoted their careers to teaching on the Red Lake Indian Reservation. After 31 years in the classroom, Cathy retired in 2010.
