James "Jim" Gavin

James "Jim" Gavin married his wife, Pat, in 1968. After serving eight years in the United States Air Force, he returned to Bemidji in 1976 to raise their family and later graduated from Bemidji State University in 1980. He cherished time with family and friends and was happiest on fishing trips with his boys. He enjoyed fixing items in the garage and was always ready to lend a helping hand.
