Lawrence "Larry" Higgins

Lawrence “Larry” Higgins was born and raised in Bemidji, Minn. He graduated from Bemidji State College in 1965 on a basketball scholarship. Higgins spent 35 years with the Wayzata School District as a teacher, including one year as a principal. Following retirement, he moved to Venice, Fla., with his wife, Dianne, where he worked part time as a realtor.
