The Bemidji State University Alumni & Foundation has two current job vacancies now accepting applications. The current openings are for a Director of Career Advancement and for a Communications Associate.

The Director of Career Advancement is a role for a visionary leader and strategic architect behind Bemidji State University’s bold reimagining of career development. As one of the key driving forces in the university’s innovative Discover3 initiative, the director will help shape and elevate a dynamic, student-centered career ecosystem that bridges academics, industry, and community — empowering students to navigate their pathways with purpose from day one through post-graduate achievement.

The part-time Communications Associate will support the execution of strategic communication and marketing efforts that build awareness, engagement and support among alumni, donors and friends of the university. This role works closely with the Communications Manager to enhance awareness of the Alumni & Foundation’s mission, programs and impact by driving communications, producing marketing materials and ensuring consistency in brand messaging. The Communications Associate plays a key role in email marketing, storytelling and event promotion and support through data-driven approaches.
