The Bemidji State University Alumni & Foundation has welcomed BSU graduate student Kendra Sparby as the events coordinator for the 2026 spring semester. She began her role on Jan. 12.
In her role at the BSUAF, Sparby will support event operations across all phases of the event cycle. Her responsibilities include pre- and post- event organization, facilitating requests from event hosts and attendees, and helping ensure a positive guest experience throughout each event.
“I am excited and looking forward to starting this graduate assistant position, as it provides an opportunity to grow professionally while supporting the work of the team,” Sparby said. “I look forward to learning from those around me while also contributing in meaningful ways.”
In addition to her academic background, Sparby brings hands-on professional experience by having supported daily business operations, including management of accounts payable and receivable, assisting with inventory and purchasing, coordinating tasks, and handling customer communications.
Sparby is currently pursuing her master's degree in business administration and will graduate in Spring 2026. She also holds a bachelor's in business administration with an emphasis in management from Bemidji State.
