Bemidji Ballroom and Swing Dance Clubs presents...
Snowball
Unfortunately, due to low attendance numbers, we are unable to host Snowball as planned this year. All guests will receive a full refund promptly, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this causes.
There is good news, however! We will still be hosting a Valentine’s Dance on the same date, 7-10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Suzy and Hondo School of Dance. This event is free of charge for all guests and open to the public, and we're keeping the activities as similar to Snowball as possible while re-theming it to the upcoming Valentine’s holiday.
Entertainment (live band and dancing) has not changed. We completely understand if you are unable to attend this substitute; thank you again for your support. It’s truly appreciated by all our members.
Here’s everything you need to know about the new dance:

About Snowball
Originally conceived as part of its 75th anniversary celebration, the BSU Snowball was aimed at raising money for BSU students, and now the BSU Ballroom and Swing Dance Clubs have joined forces to revive the tradition.
The clubs have been guided by advisor Suzy Langhout and team coach Hondo (an original Snowball committee members over 25 years ago) to help maintain the spirit of the original event.
Together they have been assisted by the BSU Alumni & Foundation to create the BSU Funtastic Dance Fund, a new financial vehicle to support the work of the dance program on campus.
Proceeds will offset travel, instruction and overhead costs incurred by the students working through the BSU dance program.
Questions and inquiries can be directed by text or call to Suzy at 218-766-4043, or email at slanghout@bemidjistate.edu.
For those unable to attend, your generous donation is also welcome. To donate, click the button below and select "Other" as your designation, then type "Snowball" in the description.
