Bemidji State University fans can now sign up to welcome in the newest class of Athletic Hall of Fame inductees, as registration has opened for this year’s ceremony.
The 2025 Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, in the Beaux Arts Ballroom. Beaver Athletics will formally welcome six new individuals and four new teams to the Hall.
Former Bemidji State student-athletes Sheena (Devine) Remitz (women's track and field); Dennis Prosen (men's swimming and diving); Matt Read (men’s hockey); and Lance Rongstad (football/men’s basketball) will be inducted as individual athletes.
Judith (Smith) Stoker (volleyball/women’s basketball/women's track and field) will also be BSU’s second-ever Legacy Inductee, which honors individual athletes whose performances warrant Hall of Fame inclusion but who competed in an era when records and statistics were incomplete or nonexistent. Dr. Tom Richard will also be inducted as the John S. Glas Honorary Letter Winner Award.
Additionally, four men’s hockey national championship teams (1992-93, 1993-94, 1994-95 and 1996-97) will be inducted.
Tickets are $50 each and include breakfast, refreshments and the program.
