I graduated in 1995. My greatest achievement wasn’t earning a degree, but my service to BSU. Beginning with hall council to student senate to being the student president - my service was my proudest contribution to BSU. One pic of me would be nice.

The legacy of Art Lee
Dr. Arthur O. “Art” Lee, a beloved professor emeritus of history, was a BSU faculty member from 1959 until his retirement in 1995. Unofficially the grandfather of Bemidji State history, Lee's work preserving and celebrating our past has served as the cornerstone of History in the Pines.
In addition to captivating students in the classroom, Art Lee authored “University in the Pines” in 1994, which is considered the definitive historical narrative of Bemidji State University. His work was instrumental in the creation of this database and in the lives of countless students.
