What is the Build the Dam Challenge?
On February 13, Beavers around the world - alumni, students, parents, friends, faculty and staff - will come together for Bemidji State University's day of giving, a 24-hour online fundraising event that will change the lives of BSU students, both now and in the future.
Where can I designate my gift?
You can make your gift to The Lakeside Fund (academic scholarships), Beaver Pride (athletic scholarships) or your favorite BSU Beavers athletic team.
What is the campaign's goal?
Our goal is 500 donors over the 24-hour period.
Who can participate in the Build the Dam Challenge?
Absolutely anyone can participate! Alumni, students, parents, friends, faculty and staff are all welcome to join in the fun and make a gift.
How do I make a gift?
You can make your gift online at bsualumni.org/dayofgiving on February 13. If you prefer, you can also mail your gift to:

Gifts must be postmarked by February 13 to count toward the challenge. Gifts postmarked after that date will not count toward the day's totals, but will still benefit students!
How do I give to a specific Beavers athletic team?
When you make your gift using our easy-to-use donation form, select the team you want to support under the "designation" drop-down menu.
Is it safe to give online?
Yes. Making a gift online via our giving page is both easy and secure.
Is there a minimum gift amount?
No! Gifts of any size are greatly appreciated and will make a difference at BSU.
Will my gift be tax-deductible?
Absolutely. All gifts made to the campaign are tax-deductible. Donors receive an email confirmation after making their gift and will receive a tax receipt in the mail after the gift is processed.
