All graduates of BSU, or former students who have completed at least 36 quarter credit hours or 32 semester credit hours, are considered alumni of Bemidji State University and are eligible for such benefits as the alumni directory, requesting university transcripts and BSU Career Services, as well as affinity services, found below.
Alumni who contribute at least $50 a year to the BSU Alumni & Foundation have the opportunity to receive additional benefits. To become a contributing member, make a donation today. Participating alumni receive a Contributing Member Benefits Card that provides access to the following benefits:
Gillett Wellness Center
Contributing alumni rates offer discounts of up to $375 a year. The Gillett Wellness Center offers state-of-the-art equipment and facilities that encourages members to slim down, tone up, de-stress, or just play. Call (218) 755-4135 for information about rates and services.
Alumni Relative Scholarships
First-year, returning and transfer students with a relative who is a contributing alum may apply for an Alumni Relative Scholarship. About 45 scholarships worth $1,000 each are awarded each year. Students can apply online or learn more from these FAQs. The yearly application deadline is Feb. 1. The awards are made possible by contributions to the Lakeside Fund.
BSU Bookstore Discounts
Contributing alumni receive a 15 percent discount on merchandise and apparel at the BSU Bookstore on campus. Show your Bemidji State University pride all year long with authentic BSU collegiate apparel, including t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats and game-day gear.
