Bemidji State University's day of giving, known as the Build the Dam Challenge, is all about addressing the needs of BSU students as they study, compete and grow during their time at Bemidji State.

Over $60,000 in matching gifts have been pledged to the Build the Dam Challenge thanks to a group of passionate alumni. The campaign incorporates giving challenges that donors can support based on affinity groups they identify with, including class year, relationship to the university, favorite athletic program or geographic location.

Each giving challenge has a matched gift associated with it. When donors successfully complete a challenge, that money is unlocked and added to the campaign’s donation total.

Gifts to the Build the Dam Challenge will support three main areas of need on campus: The Lakeside Fund, Beaver Pride and specific Beaver athletic programs. Thanks to the over $60,000 in matching gifts, donors around the world will be able to double their impact for BSU students on February 13.
