Mur Gilman and Donna Palivec have a sweet gig: maple syruping. The two professors emeritae at Bemidji State University have discovered a rewarding passion in their springtime operation.

Allyssa Joseph has been appointed by President John L. Hoffman as executive director of the Bemidji State Alumni & Foundation and vice president for advancement supporting both BSU and Northwest Technical College.

Leading wire-to-wire, the Bemidji State University men’s golf team completed the title run, claiming the first conference crown for the Beavers since 2000 and the 16th overall.

Support rolled in from near and far on April 15 at the Green & White Dinner and Auction – to the record-setting tune of more than $200,000 raised for BSU Athletics.

Aaron Trunt isn’t the first Bemidji State University graduate to reach the professional baseball ranks. But he may very well be the first to do it like this.
