Beaver Football fans in the Bemidji area are one bus ride away from witnessing history.

For the first time in the program’s 98-year existence, the Bemidji State football team has reached the national quarterfinals in the Division II NCAA Tournament. The Beavers will next face Minnesota State at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, at historic Blakeslee Stadium in Mankato, and Bemidji State University is offering local fans a chance to shuttle to the game on a BSU fan bus.

The cost is $45 per person and includes a seat on a coach bus to and from Mankato, light snacks on the bus and one general admission ticket to the game. The bus will depart at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, from Cenex South, located at 120 Convenience Lane SW, Bemidji. Fans can park their vehicles on the south end of the Cenex parking lot.

Fans can register by clicking the button below. There are a limited number of seats available, and spots will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Inside the stadium, all Beaver fans are encouraged to sit together directly behind the BSU bench, in the visitors seating section. Bemidji State fans are also encouraged to wear green to show their support of the Beavers.

There are also a number of other ways to support the team. There will be a pregame social at Rounders Sports Bar and Grill in Mankato from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Rounders is located at 414 S. Front Street in downtown Mankato. Additionally, there will be a Bemidji watch party at a to-be-determined location. Information on the local social will be announced later in the week at www.bsualumni.org/taketheblake.

Now is our chance to #TakeTheBlake and show up to support our team!
