Bucky’s Celebrity Softball Game returns for its third iteration on June 9, 2026!
Well-known alumni and friends from the Bemidji community will take part in the family-friendly event, which is the latest installment of BSU’s Community Appreciation Day series and is meant to show our gratitude for the community’s support of Bemidji State.
The Green Sox and Whitecaps will square off once again — with the rivalry currently tied 1-1. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the BSU Softball Field, and admission is free for everyone. Additionally, giveaways and prizes will be up for grabs throughout the game, and all attendees will have the chance to enter for free.
Players’ skill levels promise to range from “just here for kicks” to “playing for MVP.” And although we’ll keep score, we primarily want to have fun while showcasing the best of our Bemidji community.
